“You can't stay in your corner of the Forest waiting for others to come to you. You have to go to them sometimes.”
– A.A. Milne, Winnie-the-Pooh
Group offerings vary during the year. Please contact me directly for information on the available group opportunities. I rotate group opportunities based upon community need.
Support groups are not therapeutic, as they are intended to build skills and offer emotional support.
Therapy groups are therapeutic in nature and may allow for billing through your insurance company. Please reach out with questions.
Please complete a group interest form to be kept up-to-date on future group offerings.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a structured therapy focused on learning four core skills (mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness) to manage stress. The goal is to decrease reactivity and increase acceptance of oneself and of the things that are not within control (other people!).
This group primarily focuses on ineffective strategies that contribute to reactivity. Participants will learn how to use mindfulness and distress tolerance skills to feel more equipped to manage hard situations (and relationships).
This group meets weekly for 16 weeks and is limited to 8 participants. The cost for this group is $850 ($50 per week plus a $50 materials fee). A discount is offered ($750) when paid in full by the first day of the group. Insurance may be an option for this group. Please reach out to discuss insurance options. This group explores how codependent patterns of relating result in problems in our relationships. We explore the ways in which avoidance, denial, control, compliance, and lack of self-esteem lead to patterns of communicating that leave us feeling disconnected from ourselves and those we interact with. Participants will begin to identify their personal patterns of codependence and learn ways to move toward a more authentic way of being. This group will also explore childhood experiences that may have contributed to adult ways of interacting. This group meets for weekly for 14 weeks and is limited to 8 participants. The cost for this group is $700. Participants must register for this group.
In this group, participants explore why boundaries are so hard to implement, why boundaries are so important, and how to begin to set boundaries in their lives. The group is focused on skill-building and recognition of what boundaries should look like in the various areas of life (work, home, family, etc.). The group meets once a week for 16 weeks and is limited to 8 participants. The cost is $800 ($50 per week). Participants must register for this group.
Using the book Boundaries by Henry Cloud and John Townsend and the parallel workbook, participants explore why boundaries are so hard to implement, why they are so important, and how to begin setting boundaries in their lives. This group is less therapeutic in nature, as it focuses primarily on skill building. The group runs meets once a week for 18 weeks and is limited to 8 participants. Please note that this book was written from a Christian perspective. The group operates from a higher power perspective and respects the individual spirituality of all participants. This group meets weekly for eighteen weeks. The cost is $900 ($50 per week).
Story workshops offer an opportunity to explore life themes in a small group setting. It can be healing when one explores life in a supportive environment with a trained facilitator to guide the process. Participants will have the opportunity to learn how styles of relating impact communication with others. Teaching time will explore codependent patterns, shame, boundaries, and deeply ingrained beliefs that can lead to relationship stressors. Through teaching and group interactions, participants receive encouragement and support as they come to understand themselves, resulting in more authentic and transformative ways of living. Workshops meet for 2 hours each week and run for 12 weeks. The groups are limited to 6 participants. The cost for this group is $900. Participants must register for this group.
