"Owning our story and loving ourselves through that process is the bravest thing we’ll ever do." - Brené Brown
Jessie's pronouns are she/her. She is a deeply empathetic, curious, nonjudgmental human who believes in meeting others where they are and honoring the complexity of every story.
Jessie earned a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grand Canyon University (Phoenix, AZ) and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Berry College (Rome, GA).
Jessie began volunteering with victims of sexual assault while in college in Georgia. In 2006, she began working with adults with developmental disabilities. In 2017, Jessie worked as a case manager for adults with co-occurring mental health and substance use experiences. In 2019, she worked for a local non-profit that supported victims of human trafficking. Her work in WA state eventually allowed her to work with families as a WISe clinician and through the Kitsap Juvenile and Family Court.
Jessie completed her graduate school internship with Healing Gardens Counseling and was hired as an associate mental health counselor upon graduation in July 2026. While she is a newly licensed counselor, she brings a wealth of experience into her work with clients in a therapy setting.
